The summer camp pics show both my sons who are on the spectrum, ages 12 and 13. The one bowling is my higher functioning son Nick that is homeschooled for Middle School. He has been in general ed since first grade.

I am currently a graduate student at Simmons College (MA) in a Special Education program (Moderate Disabilities). I am an ABA Therapist working with young children on the autism spectrum. I am currently starting to use PECS/Boardmaker images for a young child to be able to assist her with creating a schedule of what she will earn for doing academic work and the order of what we will work on. It has really proven to help for her to see the images in front of her of the desired reinforcers instead of just talking about them!
