All about taking the tech out of our childrens play and getting back to learning through creativity and imagination.

Hi Bonnie, thanks for the welcome, I'm not very experienced in Pecs to be honest, but I am hopeing to learn alot.
My 6 yr old son who's aspergers has good communication skills so we are lucky in that we rarely need visual supports.
My 5 yr old has more complex autism, he is non-verbal and at a really early stage of development. His eye contact has improved though over the past 6 months so we are going to start introducing a handful of symbols and signs. We are hopeing that this may be a start in helping us communicate with him more easily.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Bonnie! I just checked out your photos - what a handsome boy you have - looks like he's in a great program!
