What Books do you recommend to learn more about PECS?

I started with the Pecs Manual. My favorite is the Activity Book for Teaching Autistic Children, which I shared with Elementary Teacher, AAC and Speech Therapist. I like the visuals in this book. This past summer I purchased A Visual Recipe Cookbook for Non Readers and then learned that the summer autism camp my kids attend has copies in the classroom for their cooking sessions.

The Take a Shower poster is still on the wall in the bathroom, used as a reminder. These are books I have in my home library and need to explore more in depth:

Meaningful Exchanges For People With Autism: An Introduction To Aug...

A Picture's Worth: PECS and Other Visual Communication Strategies i...

Visual Supports for People with Autism: A Guide for Parents and Pro...

Activity Schedules for Children With Autism: Teaching Independent B...

All these books are part of the Topics in Autism Series. There are several other books in this series worth checking out. that cover behavior and independence.

The Picture Exchange Communication System training manual by Lori Frost is a good basic manual. Unfortunately it is hard to use if you have not been to the training. It also expects every one to follow it exactly with out modification. I work with very low functioning students who would never progress form phase 1 if I did not modify it to some extent.
